Cognitive skills are the mental processes through which we understand our world. At first, the basic cognitive tools will help baby survive outside the womb: the ability to remember your unique scent and voice for example. As time passes by memory is longer, abilities are developing, and the world starts to make more sense. Once your baby become a tiny explorer, every day brings on a new experiment as she “researches” her world to better understand her surroundings, constantly testing new theories, gathering and processing new data and analyzing the results.
