A baby shower theme can be as simple as pink for a girl or blue for a boy. If you really want to bust out your creative side, you can also go for themes such as: vintage, the wild west, animals, the ocean, or Alice in Wonderland, to name a few. The possibilities are endless.

Baby Shower Decorations

You have your theme, you have your venue. Now, finding baby shower decorations should be a piece of cake. Let’s say you chose a color-based theme, your baby shower decorations can include balloons, plates, and table clothes in that color. If you choose an animal theme, you can set out centerpieces of animal crackers. If you choose a wild west theme, you can ask all guests to dress up in western style, use napkins with bandana-like patterns, and so forth. You get the idea.

This is the fun part. One of the more traditional baby shower games involves passing around a string and a pair of scissors and asking each guest to cut off the length of string he or she thinks corresponds to the mommy’s belly. Give guests a paper with everyone’s names on it and 10-15 minutes to match the names with the numbered baby photos. Whoever guesses the most right is the winner.
